Money raised: Around 400 guests braved streets covered in snow/sleet to attend the luncheon, which raised $280,000, bringing a total of $2.2 million over the last nine years.
Guest speakers: Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Pierce Bush. Daughters of former president George and Laura Bush, the girls are poised, knowledgeable speakers who held the audience's attention with the warm intimate account of their lives and careers. They gave credit to their parents for being role models and giving them the confidence and passion for public service. Hager is a contributing correspondent to NBC's “Today” Show and Bush is CEO and co-founder of the Global Health Corps. Wearing sleeveless dresses, blonde mom-to-be Hager was dressed in red, and dark-haired Bush wore black accessorized with black boots.
Leaders: Anne Gray and Myrla Pierson were co-chairmen and honorary co-chairmen were Joan Maguire and LaDonna Meinders. Ann Cameron and Lindsay McIntyre were co-chairmen of the sponsorship committee.
Special: Hundreds of roses in mixed colors were used on the entry tables and as centerpieces on the luncheon tables, exuding a wonderful fragrance that was welcome on such a frigid day.

To benefit: Heart research and education. A record-breaking $800,000 was raised, including $150,000 on the night of the event.

The evening: Entertainment, silent and live auctions, dancing to the music of the Scott Keeton band. Forty-nine Sweethearts were presented on stage with their fathers. High school students, these young women participated in volunteer and education programs for the American Heart Association throughout the school year.
Special guest: Russell Westbrook, who paid tribute to his deceased best friend Khelcey Barrs III.
Leaders: Donna and Bruce Lawrence were co-chairmen; lending a hand were Dick Tanenbaum, Jennifer Allen, John Richels, Sarah Brawley, David Pepper, Damon Brown, Tom McDaniel, Amy Crowley, David Harlow, Robert Dudley, Ross Hansen, Barbie and Mark Grimes and Tina Dobson. Tammy Payne was master of ceremonies.
Event: Delta Delta Delta Art with a Heart Benefit for the Oklahoma Children's Cancer Association in Conjunction with the Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma.
Where: University of Oklahoma Children's Hospital Atrium.
What: Art created by the children who are patients at the Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma during art therapy sessions. The art was donated for sale in a silent auction. The young artists attended for an evening of excited celebration and recognition of their accomplishments.

Purpose: To celebrate and honor all women public figures in the state, including state legislators and county and city officials.
