FILE - A Nov. 5, 2008 file photo shows an Etch A Sketch portrait of President Elect Barack Obama, that was unveiled as the results of the presidential election were announced. Etch A Sketch is suddenly drawing lots of attention, thanks to a gaffe that has shaken up Mitt Romney's campaign. Ohio Art, the maker of the classic baby boomer toy, says it's sending a big box of Etch A Sketches to the presidential campaigns to say thanks for the publicity and a boost in sales. (AP Photo//The Ohio Art Company, Ellen Dallager, File) Politics. President Barack Obama visited Cushing, Okla., to discuss energy policy. He arrived after a plane flight, a helicopter ride and a jaunt in an SUV, which is how most people get to Cushing.

Politics. Republican presidential candidates revive sales of Etch a Sketches while making fun of Mitt Romney. Joke’s on you, Etch a Sketch manufacturers say on the way to the bank.

Crime. Two men were arrested in connection with the theft of a 1-ton crane weight from a construction site. It’s kind of hard to hide something that weights, you know, a ton.

Weather.Recent rains help lessen the drought throughout much of the state. In other news, grass grows for the first time in years.

Business. Everyone is angry about high gas prices, but no one’s sure who to blame. Blame your Hummer.

Entertainment. “The Hunger Games” opens. Teenagers and I go crazy.
