In case you love the police and their stations, there’s a celebration everyon’s invited to this week.

There will be an open house of the new William Haskell Keith Del City Police Building, 4517 SE 29, from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday. There is a fancy-schmancy opening program at noon, and the dedication and ribbon cutting will be at 1 p.m. A building tour will follow.

Ergo, if you’d like to committ a bunch of burglaries in Del City, this might be the time to do it! All the police will be at their new police station!

Just kidding. Don’t do that! It’s awful.
