Eight Oklahoma charities have received a four-star rating from Charity Navigator, a company that analyzes financial documents to help donors pick the most reputable groups. Here’s the list of the only four-star charities in the state.

  1. Blessings International. (Broken Arrow)
  2. City Rescue Mission. (Oklahoma City)
  3. Infant Crisis Services. (Oklahoma City)
  4. Little Light House. (Tulsa)
  5. Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. (Oklahoma City)
  6. Reaching Souls International. (Oklahoma City)
  7. Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. (Oklahoma City)
  8. United Way of Central Oklahoma. (Oklahoma City)

Are these the only good charities in Oklahoma? Absolutely not. There are literally thousands of groups doing good work. But these are larger, far-reaching charities that have proven they can manage money. For my husband and me, that matters. One of our two favorite charities is on this list. Props to them for using their donor dollars well. It’s appreciated.
