July in Oklahoma was the hottest month on record for any month in any state.
We win! Sort of.
The average temperature in Oklahoma last month was 88.9 degrees. The previous record was 88.1 degrees, which was Oklahoma’s record as well.
Oklahoma: first in football, first in incarceration rates for women, first in heat. Somebody’s got to pull the load, America.
