Camp Fire candy? Delicious.
As a reporter, I love when people leave food at our office instead of insults. Today was one of those lucky days. I got to meet Pam Ballard, executive director of the Heart of Oklahoma Council of Camp Fire USA. She stopped by to say thanks for information we published about their ongoing candy sale. (Just in the interest of full disclosure: someone else wrote the brief and we didn’t write it with the promise of candy.)
I put out the candy for anyone in the newsroom to enjoy, and I thought I’d give a mini review of what I got to try. In order from delicious to deliciously delicious.
3. Almond Roca: toffee covers in chocolte and almond crumbles. I’m not a big toffee fan, but let’s honest here. You better believe I ate that piece of Almond Roca.
2. Almond Caramel Clusters: bunches of almonds and caramel covered in chocolate. True love.
1. Creamy Smooth Mint Patties: chocolate-covered mint goo. Yum. I. Mean. Yum. And yum.
