Thanks to a smart reader who caught my mistake about beer alcohol content in my column Saturday. In Oklahoman, beer is 3.2 percent alcohol by weight – not volume. I’m not beer drinker. (Beer drinkers, go here for expertise.) But that’s no excuse for mistakes.

As my punishment, I’ve decided I’ll drink a beer. Just kidding. That’s a waste of a beer that my husband would actually enjoy. So I’ve decided that I’ll throw a beer a police cruiser. I’m sure that will end well.
