Chefs' Feast is Back
The 26th annual Chefs' Feast is from 6 to 9 p.m. March 28 at the National Cowboy Heritage & Western Museum.
The event will include food from 25 of the metro's best restaurants, serving gourmet foods and fine wines and spirits, which are included in the ticket price. Proceeds from the food and wine-tasting event benefit the Regional Food Bank's Food for Kids childhood hunger programs.
Chef Don Thierry from Market Source and chef Christine Dowd from Aunt Pittypat's Catering are coordinating the event for a third year in a row.
Participating restaurants include: Aunt Pittypat's Catering, Big Truck Tacos, Cafe 501, Cafe 7, Chef's Requested Foods, Cheever's, Gages Steakhouse, Gopuram Taste of India, Kam's Kookery and Guilford Gardens, Market Source, McNeal's Catering, Mutt's Amazing Hot Dogs, Red Prime Steak, Republic Gastropub, Rehearsals, Rococo, Sodexo at Southern Nazarene University, The Coach House and Western Concepts Restaurants, The Mantel Wine Bar and Bistro, The Metro Wine Bar and Bistro, The Museum Cafe, and U.S. Foods
The event also features fun music and raffle items, like a $2,000 gift card to B.C. Clark and a wine pull.
Tickets are $120 in advance and Patron Tables, which include reserved seating for 10 and two bottles of fine wine, are available for $1,400. Tickets and Patron Tables are limited. Wine Tour Set for Spring Break
Derek Jensen has scheduled an Oklahoma Wine Spring Break Tour. The day includes a visit to three wineries, a cheese factory and a surprise on Saturday.
The tour will include stops at Strebel Creek Winery in Oklahoma City, Clauren Ridge Winery in Edmond and Whirlwind Winery in Wagonga along with a stop at The Cheese Factory in Kingfisher. Cost is $75 per person. For more information, call 200-9981.
