Equipment failure causes massive power outage in southeast Oklahoma

A major power outage swept portions of southeast Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Coweta early Friday, according to KTUL.com. The station reports that about 13,000 PSO customers lost service around 3:30 a.m. Electricity was restored about 5 a.m.
