MIDWEST CITY — A dozen people were arrested during saturation patrols and a DUI checkpoint in Midwest City late Saturday and early Sunday, authorities said.
The checkpoint, in the 7200 block of SE 15, was operated jointly by Midwest City police and Oklahoma County sheriff's deputies.
Six people were arrested on DUI complaints and three on license violations. One person had an outstanding warrant, another was in possession of marijuana and the cause of one arrest was listed only as “other” in a news release from the sheriff's department.
There were also 139 citations given and 51 warnings issued for a variety of offenses, the release stated.
