The central Oklahoma forecast Tuesday calls for sunny skies with a high temperature in the mid-60s, the National Weather Service reports.

Rain is possible Thursday.

The forecast for Oklahoma City is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 64. South, southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east, northeast in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 37. North wind around 7 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 58. North wind around 7 mph becoming east in the afternoon.

Wednesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 45. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

Thursday: Showers likely. Cloudy with a high near 52. South, southeast wind 10 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Thursday night: A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy with a low around 39.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Cloudy with a high near 46.

Friday night: A slight chance of rain and snow. Partly cloudy with a low around 35. Chance of precipitation is 10 percent.

Saturday: A slight chance of rain showers. Mostly sunny with a high near 46. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday night: A chance of rain and snow. Partly cloudy with a low around 30. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
