Tulsa man struck and killed by car in Cherokee County

Timothy Casey, 53, of Tulsa died after being struck and killed by a car on U.S. 62 in Cherokee County west of Tahlequah late Tuesday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

A Tulsa man died after being struck and killed by a car on U.S. 62 in Cherokee County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Timothy Casey, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene, about 2 1/2 miles west of Tahlequah, troopers said.

About 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, Casey was walking west in the eastbound lane of U.S. 62 when he was struck and killed by eastbound motorist. The driver was not hurt, according to a patrol report.
