French robots Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo -better known as Daft Punk- went into the studio after 2005′s Human After All, not to record a new album but rather to score the sequel to Disney’s 1982 sci-fi action flick.
The soundtrack will be available for purchase November 23, via Walt Disney Records, according to Consequence of Sound. CoS also says that the release date for the film is expected December 17.
George Lang was born in Oklahoma City and raised in Houston and Tulsa. Following graduation from Jenks High School, Lang spent time in the military before studying journalism at the University of Oklahoma.
Beginning in 1994, Lang covered crime stories and local media, culminating in coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing and the many stories surrounding that tragedy. By the late 1990s, Lang's focus shifted to fine arts, features and popular culture, ultimately leading to his current position as assistant entertainment editor for The Oklahoman and editor of LOOKatOKC.
