Gang of Four’s classic 1979 politico-post-punk album “Entertainment” should be in every self-respecting StaticBlog reader’s collection: not only does the album hold up better than 95 percent of 32-year-old albums — or people, for that matter — but it provided the template for much of the dance-rock that came out in the past decade. Unfortunately, the band’s full-scale reunion of a few years ago did not hold, but the two stalwarts of Go4, Jon King and Andy Gill, are back with “Content,” their first album of new material in 16 years, and will perform tomorrow night on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
