Wow — only three weeks into 2013 and we have a Top 10 candidate: Foxygen’s “We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic.” The duo’s precocious ability to create classic-sounding pop from the best influences of the past 40 years proves they aren’t kidding about that title.
They are playing March 11 at Opolis — go to the show, then get on the road for SXSW.
