The Cowboys could look quite similar, or vastly different next season, depending on the stay/go decisions of Marcus Smart, Markel Brown and Le'Bryan Nash, who are all contemplating jumps to the NBA as underclassmen.

A look ahead:

Who's gone

C Philip Jurick. Gave the Cowboys a paint presence and an answer inside when they faced traditional big men, which wasn't often.

Who's back

F Michael Cobbins. Continued to progress following his return from injury, becoming a key cog down the stretch.

G Phil Forte. Played a major role as a true freshman and will be counted on for three more years.

G Kirby Gardner. Backup to Smart, he likely doesn't project as a starter, even if Smart decides to leave.

F Kamari Murphy. Gave the Cowboys solid production in his freshman season and should only develop into a bigger role.

F Marek Soucek. A knee injury set the 7-footer back, leaving him out of rotation plans. Can he develop to add needed depth inside?
