Temperatures will be in the 40s Monday in central Oklahoma with strong winds, the National Weather Service reports.

Skies will be sunny with wind gusts over 30 mph.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 44. North, northwest wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph.

Monday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 24. North, northwest wind 12 to 17 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 52. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 33. South, southeast wind around 8 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 64. South wind 9 to 18 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 44.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a high near 62.

Thursday night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 50.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 65.

Friday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 51.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 64.

Saturday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 51.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 68.
