Police investigating 13th homicide of the year in Oklahoma City

The body of a man was found Sunday in south Oklahoma City. His death is being investigated as a homicide, police report.

Police are reporting Monday the homicide of a man in south Oklahoma City.

Jay Haskel Davis, 77, was found dead about 7:45 a.m. Sunday at 113 SE 17, Master Sgt. Gary Knight reports.

Davis had suffered severe traumatic injury that apparently led to his death, according to a news release. The death is being investigated as the 13th homicide of the year in Oklahoma City.

Anyone with information can call the homicide tip line at 297-1200.
