Skies will be sunny Tuesday in central Oklahoma with temperatures in the low 50s, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 51. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 36. South, southeast wind around 8 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 66. South wind 9 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 45. South, southeast wind around 8 mph.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 62. South, southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.

Thursday night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms then showers likely after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 50. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 65.

Friday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 53.

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 65.

Saturday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 51.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 68.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 49.

Monday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny with a high near 69.
