Scouting report: A pivotal matchup with 14 games left in the regular season. Oklahoma City and Chicago are in a four-way tie for eighth, the last playoff spot in the Western Conference, and have games in hand on the other two teams. ... The Barons will be bolstered by the return of center Teemu Hartikainen, sent to OKC by Edmonton. Hartikainen has played in 117 games with the Barons the last three seasons, including playing a key role in last year's run to the Western Conference finals. To make room on the roster, the Barons released forward C.J. Stretch. ... Barons goalie Yann Danis is 1-1-1 with a 2.59 goals-against average and 70 saves in three games since he returned from Edmonton. ... The Wolves, the Triple-A affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, are led by Darren Haydar (46 points).
