OU's Garza tosses complete game

Oklahoma junior Ralph Garza Jr. pitched his first-career complete game as the Sooners baseball team beat Oral Roberts 3-1 in Tulsa on Tuesday night.

Garza allowed one run and three hits while recording 11 strikeouts to improve his record to 3-0.

OU (23-4) recorded its 11th straight win.

Sooner DH Matt Oberste roped a single in the seventh inning to extend his hitting streak to 27 games. The junior has recorded a hit in every game this season. Max White had two hits and two RBIs for OU.

The Sooners return to action Thursday at home in the opener of a three-game series against Kansas.

Central Arkansas routs OSU

Central Arkansas banged out 19 hits in an 11-3 baseball win over Oklahoma State in Stillwater.

Blake Marchal had a career-high five runs batted in for UCA. Aaron Cornell had two hits for OSU.

Oklahoma State starter Kenton Bevacqua (1-2) took the loss, allowing four runs on five hits in 1 1/3 innings. The Cowboys (19-5) used seven pitchers in the loss.

OSU returns to action on Thursday at home against Texas.

OU softball games rescheduled again

Game times for Oklahoma's softball doubleheader at Wichita State on Wednesday have been changed back to their originally scheduled times of 3 and 5 p.m.

The games had temporarily been changed, but have since been returned to their initially announced times.
