Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen, Colt McCoy, Tim Tebow and Dan LeFevour aren’t throwing in Indianapolis. Zac Robinson wishes they were.

Robinson, the Oklahoma State quarterback, plans to throw Sunday during workouts at Lucas Oil Stadium, despite a shoulder injury that only now is getting to full health.

“I think Sunday will be big,” said Robinson, who is projected as a late-round draft pick. “I wish all the other guys were throwing, ’cause I feel confident throwing next to those guys. They’re not, so I’m look forward to competing and having fun out there, throwing well and running well.”

Robinson also will throw at OSU’s Pro Day on March 10 in Stillwater. “I think that’ll be big, too,” Robinson said. “Let them see me in person. How I throw. The velocity I have. Accuracy. What type of ball I throw. And footwork.”

Robinson had mixed reviews at the Senior Bowl in January, but he came away encouraged by that week in Mobile, Ala. “The game went fairly well,” Robinson said. “I’ve always loved to be under center. We just didn’t do it much.”

Robinson said he weighed in at the Combine at 6-2, 214 and played most of his career at 215, though he lost some weight during the season when he wasn’t able to lift weights because of the shoulder injury.
