OU needs to get the heck out of Dodge(Big 12). Texas, to borrow a phrase used by Berry, has turned the Big 12 into a "one trick pony". If A&M, Tech., OU, OSU and Mo. had had kept winning according to the way they were rated, especially bowls, then the Big 12 might have the same sweet deal the SEC has. The only school holding up their end of the deal in the BCS is Texas. OU needs the SEC. Remember the big plans the AD had for Owen Field, thats been on hold for a few years and we all know why. It's regretful that all the conference teams can't go, but thats life. All of OU's traditional rivalry's have been screwed up since the conference started. If they are not generating enough revenue, guess what, tuition is like tax's, they go up. With a jump to the SEC, OU can start playing some patsy's again in non-conference. Some of this un-prepared, un-disiplined play, along with those bone-headed calls from the coach's, and cover-ups by the press will take its toll. The SEC will separate the real coach's from the want-to-be's. Maybe their was a reason for hiring a fired Georgia def. coach that we don't know about, after he was already hired by Stanford?
