College football predictions for Week 6:

OU vs. Texas at Dallas: Sooners 28-20. I think the game rides with the OU offense. I don’t think Texas’ offense can win it against the Sooner defense. OU will have to give it away.

Kansas at OSU: Cowboys 75-28. The Jayhawks can’t stop the run. They really can’t stop the pass, either, but they can’t stop the run.

Cal-Berkeley at Oregon: Ducks 33-14. Since losing to LSU, Oregon has sort of fallen off the radar. Good lesson for West Coast teams. Don’t lose early.

Boston College at Clemson: Tigers 35-16. I’m sorry Dabo Swinney. I didn’t mean it.

Iowa at Penn State: Hawkeyes 20-17. The Big Ten is one bad league. Iowa might be in the upper half of the conference.

Arizona State at Utah: Utes 23-20. Winner could be headed for the Pac-12 title game, since Southern Cal is ineligible.

Auburn at Arkansas: Razorbacks 34-31. Give Gene Chizik credit. He’s turned this team into something Auburn fans can stand to live with.

Maryland at Georgia Tech: Yellowjackets 41-25. It could be worse, Randy Edsall. You could still be coaching Connecticut.

Georgia at Tennessee: Bulldogs 34-21. Sudden question. Who will win the SEC East? Don’t count out Georgia.

Miami at Virginia Tech: Hokies 23-10. V-Tech is a massive disappointment. The same could be said about the Hurricanes since they left the Big East.

Air Force at Notre Dame: Fighting Irish 27-24. In the last 20 years, Notre Dame is 2-2 at home against the Falcons.

Arizona at Oregon State: Wildcats 38-30. Must-win for Mike Stoops?

Michigan at Northwestern: Wildcats 35-33. National upset special. First game outside Ann Arbor for the Wolverines, who have played only one team, Notre Dame, that can fight back.

Iowa State at Baylor: Bears 38-26. If the Cyclones stay within striking distance, that’s very impressive.
