Oklahoma football: Cotton Bowl & JerryWorld

OU has played in the Cotton Bowl stadium more than 80 times. But this is just the second Cotton Bowl Classic game for the Sooners. OU beat Arkansas 10-3 in the 2002 Cotton Bowl, after the 2001 season.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M is an old hand at the Cotton Bowl. The Aggies have played in 12 Cotton Bowls. This is No. 13. But the Aggies are 4-8 in Cotton Bowls.

A&M also has played in more JerryWorld games than have the Sooners. This will be the Aggies’ fifth game at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. It will be the Sooners’ third. But OU has more JerryWorld wins than does A&M.
