Oklahoma City has its own version of Spike Lee, except for the fame and world-renowned directing ability.

At least that was the case on Thursday night, when a courtside fan taunted a three-time MVP, briefly turning the already supernatural LeBron James into a 6-foot-8, 265-pound Reggie Miller.

It happened late in the second quarter, with the Heat already out to a big first-half lead. LeBron was dominating play, but was still yet to find a smooth rhythm on his jumper.

But, thanks to an overenthusiastic OKC supporter, he had no trouble finding it.

“He told me to shoot it,” LeBron said of the courtside fan to reporters. “He said, ‘Shoot it, you can’t shoot.’ So I said OK. So I shot it.”

And he kept shooting it, again and again, at ridiculous angles and with ridiculous efficiency, firing in 10 points in a 1:46 span.

“And I made it,” LeBron continued. “And I made another one. And I made another one. And he stopped talking to me.”

Who do Thunder fans have to thank for the backbreaking spurt? Check the below video for yourself. And OU football fans, you’re not going to enjoy this.

Before the shooting streak, LeBron was chirping to someone in the first row on that sideline. Turns out it was OU center Gabe Ikard, wearing the white collared shirt three down from the dude in pink.

The clip doesn’t show the back-and-forth between LeBron and Ikard. But it shows the proceeding shooting display. Ikard and his friends reactions are comedy.

Lesson to the OU center and future Thunder courtside fans in the front row: It’s all fun and games, until LeBron starts raining in threes on your team.
