NORMAN — Oklahoma officially announced Bill Bedenbaugh as its new offensive line coach Sunday in a statement.

Bedenbaugh replaces James Patton and Bruce Kittle, who split offensive-line coaching duties and each left the staff last week.

SoonerSportsTV interviewed Bedenbaugh in a video posted Sunday afternoon. The interview is posted above.

  He says the top priority is to teach them(OL) to be "mean and nasty". Technique is one thing, but they gotta be nasty. Who doesn't love that? Hopefully we'll get a DL coach in here with the same philosophy. Bryant out of Florida would be good.
