Few QB's that run the ball can last a season. Stoops may get to play several. Bell may be remain their short yardage QB but I doubt he will be the main QB. Trevor Knight is my bet.

Stoops really didn't have a back-up qback last year - Bell didn't play aback, but a modified fullback. If LJones had gone down, Stoops probably would have played Bell, but that would last as long as it the other team to figure out his delay run method. Stoops didn't attempt to develop Bell to take advantage of the receivers. He had three plays - delay run left side, delay run right side, or incomplete pass.

The success of Russel Wilson should be strong motivator for Drew that with careful selection he can not only start but be an outstanding QB (if only for this coming year). Would love to see a Sooner backfield inside the 20 with Millard, another FB and speed/agility like Roy Finch and a running QB--Bell probably to start with....the pressure on the defense would be monumental..if Finch goes in motion..they would have to send someone leaving a potential running attack and passing option that would be tough to defend. As opposed to the Belldozer that just says "her I come, see if you can get your whole team to gang tackle me".
