The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents approved contracts for three new assistant football coaches and extensions to five coaches’ contracts at a meeting Wednesday.

Montgomery will receive a base salary of $220,000 with $105,000 in additional money for other services. All three coaches will receive bonuses equal to two months of their base salary if the Sooners win the BCS National Championship.

The board also approved contract extensions and raises for recruiting director and running backs coach Cale Gundy, offensive coordinator Josh Heupel, linebackers coach Tim Kish, co-offensive coordinator Jay Norvell and cornerbacks coach Bobby Jack Wright.
