College basketball: Old Big East has new TV deal with CBS

Soon-to-be renamed Big East will get approximately $4 million over seven years from CBS for men's basketball.

The announcement Wednesday that East Carolina will be added to the league for all sports means that the league's basketball lineup will include Central Florida, Cincinnati, Connecticut, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, Southern Methodist, South Florida, Temple and Tulane.


CBSSports.com reported on Tuesday that the addition of Tulsa for all sports was "a matter of when, not if."
