— The city's water has been turned back on after construction caused it to be turned off, a city official said.

Construction workers were laying new water lines in Minco when they encountered a few issues with construction, City Clerk Dawn Vieregge said.

The construction team decided to turn off the city's water, but the water was turned back on soon afterward, she said.

Classes at Minco Public Schools were canceled Thursday due to the water problems.
