Football: Adrian Peterson to hold youth camp

NFL Rookie of the Year, Adrian Peterson has announced plans to host the inaugural Old Spice Adrian Peterson Football Camp presented by AT&T and The Oklahoman for youth this summer in Norman.

Peterson will be on hand with area high school football coaches June 26 – 28 at the OU Intramural Fields from 9:30 am – 12:30 pm to work with youth football players ages 7 – 14 in a non-contact camp.

The camp will emphasize the all-around basic fundamental skills of football including passing, receiving, defense, and teamwork. Campers will participate in daily skill stations, contests, and games.

Cost of the camp is $199 which includes:
Nine hours of football instruction
Nike camp t-shirt
Autographed camp team photo with AD
Opportunity to learn from the area’s top prep football coaches
Opportunity to win daily prizes

Additionally, AD has teamed up with AT&T and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County to provide free camp spots to their participants.
