What bothers me about this, is not that they think they won the South. An argument can be made for that. What bothers me is they claim they won the Big 12. They never played in the championship game, therefore they didn't win the title. This is not only a slap in the face to Oklahoma, but a slap in the face to Missouri. They are basically stating Missouri wouldn't have been more than a speed bump in their run to the title. Nebraska coaches got a bonus because they "technically" tied Missouri for the Big 12 NORTH, but no one in Lincoln is claiming they won a Big 12 championship
