Former Sooner Justin Johnson makes ACU debut

Last night, former Sooner running back Justin Johnson made his Abilene Christian University debut, in ACU’s opener with NW Missouri State.

Johnson, remember, announced he was transferring earlier this summer, noting the demand of school and football at an institution the caliber of OU was too much.

Johnson carried the ball six times for 24 yards for ACU. Not a bad start.

Difficult at times to see a Tashard Choice when you have Adrian Peterson in the mix. But at OU, USC, OSU (had Barry Sanders and Thurman Thomas at same time) some individuals don't get that opportunity to shine.
