ND isn't more demanding than OU. Short sighted observers of the Oklahoma program tend to forget the period between A.S.(after Switzer) and B.S.(before Stoops). There was a lot of pride that kept the program from hitting the ground. The thing is...it needed to be on the ground before a new foundation could be built. N.D. is a pride filled program - to a fault. If they don't start from square one and rethink their problem - then they will continue to bounce from 6-6 to 10-2 and roll through coaches. OU is currently in a period of time that will be reflected on in about 10-15 years as "the good old days". Remember Gary Gibbs couldn't find an offensive scheme? he was version 1.0 of defensive coordinators that should stay defensive coordinators - the current version being Bo Pelini at Nebraska. Remember John Blake - who excelled at recruiting at OU - couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag. Remember Schnelly...ok...let's not remember him.
