Ellenberg Freshman of the Week

OU freshman guard Aaryn Ellenberg has been named the Big 12 women’s Freshman of the Week for the third time this season.
The 5-foot-7 freshman from Las Vegas scored 52 points while shooting 10-of-19 beyond the arc last week in wins over Texas Tech and Kansas.
Averaging 26.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in the two wins, Ellenberg drained four 3-pointers in the second half against Texas Tech, then hit her first five 3-pointers in the first half against Kansas, finishing with a career-high six 3-pointers against the Jayhawks.
Ellenberg is among the league leaders in scoring (17.0), free throw percentage (89.6), 3-poionters (51) and 3-point percentage (44.7).
Texas A&M senior Danielle Adams was named the Big 12 Player of the Week after averaging 29.5 points in two wins. Adams and the Aggies visit Lloyd Noble Center Wednesday night in a matchup of two teams that are both 5-0 in conference.
