Sooners going for late recruiting steals

OU may not be done with its 2011 class after all.

According to TheOldCoach.com, the Sooners have made overture to Coppell, Texas, defensive back Bennett Okotcha, a Notre Dame commitment.

Okotcha, a 3-star prospect according to Rivals, previously has switched his commitment from Wisconsin to the Irish.

According to TheOldCoach.com, the Sooners apparently are also making a push to land Euless Trinity (Texas) tight end/offensive lineman Nila Kasitati, who is currently committed to Baylor. Kasitati attends the same high school as Brandon Carter, who two weeks ago flipped his commitment from OU to TCU.

At the moment, the Sooners have 16 verbal commitments.
