Jenks’ Alex Ross commits to OU
And then there were two.
Oklahoma has landed it’s second verbal commitment for the Class of 2012 — and first in-state — in Jenks all-around star Alex Ross.
Ross, who was named to The Oklahoman’s All-State team this past season, finished with 1,548 yards and 27 touchdowns on just 122 carries, along with three receiving TDs and three more on kickoff returns. He averaged 224 yards on the ground in the playoffs.
Over the weekend, OU got its first pledge for 2012 from San Antonio offensive tackle Kyle Marrs.
