Miami, which would be OU’s second NCAA Tournament opponents, if the Sooners win later this afternoon in a first-round game against James Madison.
The Hurricanes (27-4) love to press. They won’t go full court press the whole game but they press a lot and try to speed up the tempo.
Think Missouri’s men’s team. The Hurricanes average 14 steals a game and force 25 turnvoers a game.
Miami is very athletic. They’re similar to Texas A&M without the expeirence.
The Hurricanes (27-4) are very talented but lack NCAA Tournament experience. This is Miami’s first NCAA appearance under Katie Meier, who is in her sixth season at UM.
Miami reached the NIT finals last year but the previous three years were losing seasons.
