Poll: Should the Sooners be awarded the 2004 BCS title?

NO! We didn't play worth a dime. I watched the first half of the game just last week, then tore up the video and threw it in the trash. Broken coverage in the defensive backfield, Jason White having a terrible game throwing interceptions. That game SHOULD have been a close game, but OU made it a laugher. May we NEVER do that again. We just came apart at the seams is what happened. We didn't fight back enough!

So I guess if by some chance this years Auburn squad played the Indianapolis Colts and lost, than Auburn doesn't deserve to be champions, because they would have lost, even if its to a team that was ineligible...don't be nieve...an ineligible team is just that. Bottom line is that we were the #2 team in the BCS, and if #1 is disqualified, it should go to the next in line, which is us. Auburn, take your grip with the AP, which you were #2 in. Let's say you're running for President on the Republican side, and you finished 2nd, but Mitt Romney won. After accepting the nomination, they find out he was born in Australia and is ineligible. You were next in line. Do you take it, or do you say "Well, I lost it in the vote, I won't take it..."

Living in SoCal I remember the trojans bragging about a "threepeat" during the 2005 season. Now they have a NO Pete as in Pete Carroll. And NO crystal footballs in their trophy case. That's justice.

No, OU does not deserve the title after the way they played USC. I was at the game and, for the first time in my life I left an OU game early - even during the 3rd Qtr. I had my two sons and son-in-law with me and I was totally embarassed! The final score was even misleading because of late meaningless scores by OU.
