Sooners picked by media to win Big 12 conference in 2011

The Sooners are the overwhelming favorite to win the Big 12 football title, receiving all but two of 43 first-place votes from media members in a preseason poll.
OU received 428 total votes, a huge gap over Texas A&M, which edged Oklahoma State for second. The Aggies and Cowboys each received one first-place vote.
One interesting result was Missouri edged Texas for fourth in the preseason poll. The Longhorns are picked fifth followed by Baylor, Texas Tech, Kansas State, Iowa State and Kansas.
