Gunner Kiel turns down Sooners, commits to Indiana

After months of speculation, Gunner Kiel, the nation’s top high school quarterback, has committed to Indiana, according to multiple reports.

He chose the new head coach Kevin Wilson and the Hoosiers, who went 5-7 last season, over Oklahoma, Missouri and Alabama, among others.

To anyone thinking about bashing Kiel for turning down OU because of "competition", get over it. The kid is a top-notch recruit who wants to play and thinks Indiana is a great fit. OU decided to stop waiting for him to make his decision and went with Knight (which will turn out fine, he's got Heupel as QB coach for crying out loud).
