Every year we learn their names, their numbers and their stats. If we’re lucky, we see their personality shine through after a big play or during the slice of a quote in the newspaper. The men in the Oklahoma Sooners jerseys are more than a number in a program or another chance at a national title. They are student athletes with stories waiting to be told. We’d like to thank OU Athletics Communications staff for their assistance. And now, The Oklahoman brings you “The Man Beneath The Helmet.”

If I weren’t playing football, I’d be representing at the Olympics in sand volleyball with my little brother.

Most people don’t know this but I am unbeatable at Ping-Pong.

The toughest part about being a student athlete is being too tired to do anything after football.

I wish I was able to fly.

My best stress reliever is reading the Bible.

On game day, I listen to country.

If I could be Big 12 commissioner for a day I would schedule us twice to play Texas.

Something you should know about this team is we can dance.

My favorite super hero is Hulk.

Nothing pumps me up more on Game Day than my teammates.

My celebrity crush is Jessica Biel.

The person who motivates me most is my family.

Oklahoma football is the best experience of my life.
