Post-El Paso Breakfast Sights
There’s a tune I hum whenever I go back to the state of Indiana. It goes like this:
On my flight back from El Paso, I sat next to two OU fans who shared a lot about their trip to west Texas with me and I began to hum the tune, even though I was heading back to Oklahoma.
My point is I realized that not everyone gets to come back home from El Paso, so I figured I’d share some of what I saw. This will kind of be like BT’s travel blog, but in photos and video.
This is what it looked like for about 17 miles from Sun Bowl Stadium to the New Mexico border.
Damon (our videographer) and I drove to the border, or as BT told me “about 300 feet away from the U.S. Constitution not mattering any.”
Then there was the extremely desolate drive along the border.
We went to a few different Mexican restaurants. This one called Leo’s served the best sopapillas. BT said if he went in on an empty stomach, he could eat 30.
