Bob Stoops mentioned earlier this season how he didn’t like an entire season of late-night kickoffs.
He raised the point that it caused an unfair advantage if Oklahoma had all late-night kickoffs while other teams had late morning or early afternoon kickoffs.
(Late-night kickoffs tend to suck up not just your whole Saturday but your Sunday as well because of how late everything ends with press conferences and everything).
It was brought up during his press conference today that Oklahoma’s next two starts are at 2:30 p.m. and 11 a.m. respectively.
Stoops was asked his feelings on the two earlier start times.
“When you lose a game, you don’t get night games as much,” Stoops said.
