Sooners will hold first men’s basketball scrimmage on Oct. 20

Oklahoma men’s basketball team has delivered. They will be playing their first intrasquad scrimmage on Oct. 20 at the Howard McCasland Field House before the kickoff of the Oklahoma-Kansas game.
The scrimmage is free and open to the public with the doors opening at 1:30 p.m. The scrimmage will be four 10-minute quarters with no halftime break. The first 500 fans will receive a free t-shirt and all fans will receive pocket and poster schedules for the upcoming basketball season which begins on Nov. 2 with an exhibition game against Washburn at 7 p.m. at Lloyd Noble Center.
Oklahoma returns the top six scores from last season, as well as all five starters.
Oct. 20 is homecoming and the football game will kickoff at 6 p.m. The Homecoming parade will begin immediately following the scrimmage at 3 p.m.
