Last month, Julius Randle trimmed his exclusive list to five.

Everyone in the country wants the nation’s top hoops prospect (just check the above video to see why), but only this fortunate batch remains with a legitimate crack at the likely one-and-done talent.

Those teams: Florida, NC State, Kentucky, Texas and, surprisingly Oklahoma.

Most consider the Sooners chances as slim, especially with John Calipari involved. But recent news has to give OU faithful at least a glimmer of hope.

Randle announced, via his personal blog, that he would take an unofficial visit to OU next weekend for the Notre Dame game.

“My next visit will be an unofficial to Oklahoma for the Notre Dame game on Oct. 27,” Randle wrote. “I’m pretty excited about that. Right now that’s all I have set up.”
