Multiple times on Saturday, David Boren would have smiled at the courtesy Sooners fans showed to the Irish. I watched a Sooners fan come up and shake the hands of a group of Irish fans wishing each of them luck. No snide remarks. No attitude. Just a lot of Southern hospitality. These fans even stopped when they saw each other’s tattoos and celebrated.
