Oklahoma DB Quentin Hayes released Wednesday via Twitter that he is no longer under suspension.

Hayes has been on suspension, along with wide receivers Jaz Reynolds and Trey Franks, since May 20 for violating team rules. Former sophomore wideout Kameel Jackson was also under suspension until he left the program for the University of Louisiana – Monroe football team.

Hayes, a sophomore, saw time last season on special teams. If he remained a safety like he was in high school, Hayes would most likely be behind Sooner safeties Tony Jefferson and Javon Harris on the depth chart.

No official word has been released about Hayes’ reinstatement or any of the other suspensions. When the news of the suspensions first broke back in May, it was reported that Franks would sit out the entire 2012 season and Reynolds would be out for seven games. There were never any reports on how long Hayes would sit out.
