A reader sent me an email this Sunday and Monday to talk about the Bedlam game. The ending of the email on Monday was what I found so interesting. Bart ended it: “And finally, I will pull for the Irish come January. That’s a first.”

As you’ll see below, he wasn’t the only one who emailed me with the sentiments and a few Oklahoma fans felt the same when I tweeted about it today.

  I'm rooting for the Irish for a very simple reason...my ego. To me. it's better being beaten by the number one team in the country as opposed to number 4 or 5.
